Manufactured from non-toxic polypropylene, the tube provides strength and clarity and exhibits some unique design features. On T550-10ATPR model, a white marking area makes sample identification quite convenient. Printed graduations from 1 to 9ml are in 0.5ml increments. The vial has external threads, and provides a smooth and uniform inner surface, thus reducing the risk of contamination.
A perfect leakproof seal is obtained by the use of a specially designed flexible sealing lip at the top of the T550W polyethylene closure. The cap also features a long skirt and a super fast thread design allowing it to be removed or sealed with a single turn. The most secure seal is provided by using a special cap (T550WOS) featuring an exclusive silicone o-ring.
